We skipped the middleman, not the quality.
Meridian Vintage was built on a simple observation: the factories that make the luggage you recognise are very good at what they do, and the price you pay at the counter has very little to do with the cost of making it.
Where we start
From the factory floor, outward.
We work directly with established luggage manufacturers — the same kind of production lines that have spent decades supplying well-known travel brands. That means we specify the components ourselves and see every batch before it ships.
It also means we do not pay for a distributor, a wholesaler, or a retail markup. That difference goes into better materials and a price that reflects what the bag actually cost to make.

Specify, then verify
We choose every component — shell thickness, wheel bearings, zip gauge, lining weight — and we test finished units against our own checklist, not just the factory's.

Price the product, not the logo
Our prices reflect materials, labour and a fair margin. We are not going to tell you a bag is worth more than it is, and we are not going to add a markup because a competitor did.

Stand behind it, properly
Every piece carries a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If something fails because of how we made it, we repair or replace it.
The design brief
Quiet, useful, and difficult to tire of.
Travel gear is used hard and looked at often, so we design for the second year rather than the first week. Muted finishes that do not shout. Shapes that stack, slide and lift without drama. Details you notice once, then rely on for a decade.
